Laughter is good for the soul or so I hear.
Ed was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary and his wife was REALLY angry.
She told him, "Tomorrow morning I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less then 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!"
The next morning Ed got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, she put on her robe, ran out to the driveway and brought the box back in the house.
She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.
Ed has been missing since Friday.
Please pray for him.
THE COMPUTER SWALLOWED GRANDMA
The computer swallowed grandma.
Yes, honestly its true!
She pressed 'control' and 'enter'
And disappeared from view.
It devoured her completely,
The thought just makes me squirm.
She must have caught a virus
Or been eaten by a worm.
I've searched through the recycle bin
And files of every kind;
I've even used the Internet,
But nothing did I find.
In desperation, I asked Jeeves
My searches to refine.
The reply from him was negative,
Not a thing was found 'online.'
So, if inside your 'Inbox,'
My Grandma you should see,
Please 'Copy,''Scan' and 'Paste' her
And send her back to me.
This is a tribute to all the Grandmas
who have been
fearless and learned
to use the Computer........

Personal Information:
I am living in Fort Worth Texas area at the present. I moved from Minnesota to Texas about three years ago. I am glad to get away from the ice and snow. (Who saya I got away from the snow. We just got a little over a foot of snow. Quite a shocker for most of these Texans. But it is going fast with the sun out today. Something that doesn't happen in Minnesota except for an April or late March snow. It may be pretty, but not much fun to get around in. I live in a retirement center. We have pot lucks, birthday parties and various social activities here. Sometimes too many goodies is a problem for me. I am trying to learn to cook foods the are good for all of us.
Other Information:
This fall I want to take a sewing class. I hope the automatic threader will make it possible for me to thread the needle. I mostly want to take the course to learn to alternate clothes.
