When I graduated from college I weighed 228. I got a horrible job, but I dropped 10lbs there since they wouldn't let me eat. Now I'm living and working in the big city (NYC) and trying to keep the weight coming off. I'm going to school part time and working full time, so I'm focusing more on eating healthy with a few trips to the gym. The weight's not coming off easily, but I'm moving and I'm trying.
I want to get into size 12 pants.
I will stop buying vast quantities of unhealthy snacks.
I started an 18. Now I'm a 14. Now time to get my booty into a 12!
I'm trying to make better choices. I'm making myself aware of every nutritional aspect, but focusing on high-fiber low cholesterol and sodium. I keep no sugar added applesauce in my desk and low-fat string cheese in the office fridge for snacks.
I just moved into the big city (NYC) and am struggling to find the balance between cheap and healthy. I belong to a gym and try to go 3 times a week. I work full time and go to grad school, so I can't workout quite as often as I used to.
I love to travel and have jet-set about Europe quite a bit. Next destination (I wish): Thailand!
I have a degree in English and love to read, so recommend a book please!
