Looking for hope from a powerless state.

WW, BFL, Atkins, South Beach, Alli, Hydroxy Cut, Slimfast, Hollywood Diet, etc. have all been my ticket to weight loss...and weight gain. All the boom and bust has given me perspective and clarity on what I need to do. I am 112 pounds overweight with co-morbid Type II, hypertension, and can barely walk due to arthritis. Just starting my WLS journey, ...again.

Welcome to Gastric Bypass Sparklers! You’ll find plenty of support and encouragement here. No question is too stupid to ask, so post away and we’ll all put in our two cents worth. Utilize all the tools SP has to offer. I find tracking my food and exercise most helpful. Good luck on your weight loss journey!

Hi Button!
I wanted to share something that may help you and your liver. My brother had a very bad fatty liver and we were extremely worried and concerned as the Doctor told him he was going into cirosis, etc.
He started the 'THE LIVER CLEANSING DIET' by Dr. Sandra Cabot, following it very well. When he went back to see his Dr. within 6 months his #'s had dropped 1/3 of what they were!! His Doctor didn't believe it and sent him for multiple tests to prove this wrong. They were not wrong, this has helped him immensely. He is doing great 2 years later and still eating 'better'.
It is worth checking out.
