Motivation IS needed for success.

My name is Lindsay. I have a lot of friends that tell me that I am not over weight, but I think I just hide it well. I have never been this big in my life, and I know what happened. Although I am some what active, I ate... and ate... and ate.

I got a new job which let me eat what ever, and when ever I wanted. Even though I work in a Pharmacy, my boss would let me run to where ever we wanted to eat, and eat we did. So not moving for 9 hours a day aside from behind a counter, and ...

I got a new job which let me eat what ever, and when ever I wanted. Even though I work in a Pharmacy, my boss would let me run to where ever we wanted to eat, and eat we did. So not moving for 9 hours a day aside from behind a counter, and eating every chance we got, I eventually put on around 25 pounds and realized it once I saw myself with out clothes on, and worse.. when I went to put on pair of dress pants, and they didnt even come close to pulling up. I had never had that happen before.

Well for 2013 I have come to realization that something NEEDS to happen. I found the green smoothie challenge, took it, and ran with it. Now that I have lost 6 lbs, I feel amazing. Not necessarily from the health that is coming along with it, but the overall feeling of success knowing that I am doing something right. That change is happening. That in itself is healthy. Even if its just mentally.

Thank you so much! I wish I could get off this plateau but I am not gaining and am looking forward to being in the pool a lot this winter. So that may be the key! Hope you had a wonderful day yesterday and enjoyed everything you did or ate. Have a fantastic weekend!!
