Trying my best to stay healthy and active

So here I am again, still trying to get to my goal weight. I still have a little over 40lbs left to lose. I kind of took a hiatus but was able to maintain within 1-2 lbs of the weight that i had pre-hiatus. School and a new job had really taken its toll on my work out regime. I consistently worked out every morning when i had a night-shift job but as soon as i switched, i had to find the time to fit it in where i could. While i was still working out everyday, the time in which i exercised was ...

I consistently worked out every morning when i had a night-shift job but as soon as i switched, i had to find the time to fit it in where i could. While i was still working out everyday, the time in which i exercised was not as much as it was before and my weight loss progressed suffered. I got a gym membership and seemed to not be able to loose anything (I was doing all of my workouts from home before (Go figure). But here I am again, back and ready to get the rest of this weight off. Consistency is the key. Now all i have to do is push hard enough to make the difference.

Hi, my name is Faith. I'm a mother of three who is on a mission to find my healthier side. I'm looking to get motivated to move and to have more energy than before alongside my weight loss. Over the years the weight just sort of creeped up on me from having my first child and ending up at 180 lbs to my current weight now. Now with my father being diagnosed with high blood pressure, diabetes, and eventually having a stroke, I'm in it to win it. For as long as I can remember I've never really been skinny except for once. My ninth grade year and I was at 120 lbs. But even then I thought i was fat. I try to keep myself looking cute...ie..keep my hair "did"...lol, dress nice, smell nice, but i also want to look in the mirror and not be disgusted at what I see. It's all me, right now baby. My time to shine and I'm gonna make it happen. 2009 is all about me.
