Hi Everyone! I am a 38 year old married stay at home mom. I have five beautiful children (all 8 years old and under) who keep me on my toes. Here's a little of my story.

I am an emotional eater and have an extremely hard time staying motivated to lose weight. I LOVE TO EAT!! I eat when I am bored, stressed, sad, happy, you name it. I gained my weight in my mid 20's when I went through a pretty rough time in my life. I lost some of the weight I gained during that time, but when I got pregnant with my first child, I gained back what I lost and then some. Now five children later, I am still carrying around all that extra baby weight.

My husband loves me the way that I am, but I am not happy. I am tired of being the "fat" girl and having low self esteem. I want to be able to enjoy shopping for clothes again. I want to walk into a "regular" store, pick something off of the rack and have it fit.

I want to play tag with my children without getting winded. I want to set a good example for them with a healthy lifestyle.

So, I am trying again. Baby steps, one day at a time. If I fall off the horse, I am going to pick myself up, dust myself off and get back on. I am not going to let myself give up. I CAN DO THIS!

Tracking my calorie /water intake.

Staying active in the Sparkpeople community.

At least 30 minutes of cardio 4 days a week.

Strength training 2 days.

Drinking at least 8 glasses of water daily.

Reducing my sodium intake.

Reducing my consumption of diet soda.

Hey lady! Thanks for stopping by my page.

If I didn't tell you in April I'm telling you now...CONGRATS!!!! on your little addition. How is he doing?

I have been away for a while again as well. I went on a 30 day gym streak from May to June, worked on food in July and now am maintaining what I lost then. I haven't been to the gym too much lately but I will go back soon cause I've been missing it a lot!

So what are your goals this time around? How is it going???
