Hi, I am not for sure if I'll be able to keep up with this page or not. I'm a busy mom/wife/student/employee. I'd like to lose 25 lbs by the end of the year. Big dreams...hoping to turn it into reality. Eating at home with a husband that loves McDonald's and a kiddo that snacks all day - isn't helping my situation. Would love some tips on eating out - seeing how that's how we get most of our meals.

My Goals:
My goal is to finally lose that baby weight! She's almost six - can't keep saying "I just had a baby!" haha.

Watching my calories
Trying to find a work-out buddy to help me stay motivated....haha.
Drink more water!

Personal Information:
I was in graduate school getting my masters in English. But now, I figured that I didn't need the drama of "the third floor." I'm much happier now, working as a librarian and hoping on getting my MLS soon (which was what I was first going for before the English dept. approached me for their program). UPDATE: I just found out that I was accepted into grad school at TWU! I'm getting a free masters degree baby! :D Basically, I'm a wife, mother, and a forever scholar.

Other Information:
We don't read and write poetry because it's cute, we read and write poetry because we are members of the human race, and the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, and engineering. These are the noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.
