In November 2010 I was determined to lose weight, even with thyroid disease. I started out at 200 pounds, with walking everyday in the forest and keeping a food jounal I lost fifty pounds by June 2011. My ten year old granddaughter came to visit so I went off my diet now and then and missed some walks since we were traveling a good deal. I gained a couple of pounds but didn't let it stop me from keeping some controls. I again went a bit off just before Christmas week and now will get back on ...

I gained a couple of pounds but didn't let it stop me from keeping some controls. I again went a bit off just before Christmas week and now will get back on point since I have a cruise coming up in March. I am now 154 pounds and need to go down to 133 pounds to be healthy. I have no problem in my appearance but need to insure I go lower in weight since I am 54 years old.

My Goals:
I am 154 pounds and would like to get down to 133 pounds by March 2012.

My Program:
I want to meditate twice a day for twenty to thirty minutes for mental well being and walk 60-90 min a day for exercise. I am on the 1200 cal food plan.

Personal Information:
I am 56 years old and married to my weightloss buddy Mike for 36 years. We live in Germany but returning to the states this year, where we do not know yet.

Other Information:
Love nature, cats, gardening, saving money, traveling, birding, volksmarching or hiking, my children, grandchildren, and extended family. Learning Buddhism.

Right now I am hanging in there, fighting a bad cold. I am happy to hear you are back in the groove. That is where we need to be and keep getting ourselves back there. I am there with you and know that it is not easy, but you can do it. Just believe in yourself, thats the key.
