H E L P ! ! ! My hubby just retired, discovered FaceBook(and is a goner there), we're moving to Florida in a couple of months and before I end up a self basting turkey I HAVE GOT TO LOSE SOME FAT!

I no longer work but am wanting to stay relatively busy. I'm ready to put a camera on his easy chair to see if he ever leaves it. LOL! I know he does...I see him go to bed at night at least.

Ever since my knees went out on me walking is PAIN... which is a shame because I really do like walking around the neighborhood. It's amazing to see how fast weight piles on when you suddenly can't walk. I'm hopeful though and I will just do 'baby steps' if need be.

I really hope that everyone here learns to enjoy their journey. C U on Spark!

I love making and repairing rosaries for friends and family. Also some jewlry pieces.

I like to sew, but losing patience with it lately. I think that I may stick just to repairs & alterations.

Good Morning,
Thanks for the support. Just to answer a few of your questions.
I try to stay moving during the day, walking is my year round fall back to exercise. I swim at a indoor pool whenever I have the funds to join the pool.
I know" maintaining" is the slippery slope of weight loss but I've done pretty good so far. For me the key is I don't sit very long even when I'm at the computer I get up and walk around the house to wild fast music10 minutes every hour. So to take my own advice it's time for me to walk! emoticon

I can completely relate to aching knees. I've had one replaced but since I don't have a support system anymore the other one will have to wait. I can walk a little bit and like stores because I can go twice as fast with a cart to push as I can when it's just me.

But now my back is beginning to bother me too.

Keep on working towards your goals. I know it's really hard but with Spark friends it does get easier. emoticon
