Every Little Bit Helps

Hello and welcome to my page. I started out here on SP weighing 205 in September 2011. I wanted to lose 50 in a year. Well I lost 20 pounds by the end of 2011 with adding exercising and eating more fruit and vegetables. Now I feel I can lose the rest with time and effort. I joined Weight Watchers again May 1, 2013. I am going to work this program like I never have before.

I am married to a verry supportive man and with his help I think I can do this. I love to cook and he inspires me to make low cal meals.

I challenge myself to make better choices to become stronger healthier and a better person. I find that pushing myself to be healthier every day is practical. I use steaks to motivate myself.

"You can make a wish or you could make it happen".
"Stop wishing for it. Start working for it".
"Don't put off your happiness another day"
"You have to believe in what you are doing so strong it becomes a reality"
"I'm not there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday"

When they believe in themselves they have the first secret of success."

“For some reason, we are truly convinced that if we criticize ourselves, the criticism will lead to change.
If we are harsh, we believe we will end up being kind.
If we shame ourselves, we believe we end up loving ourselves.
It has never been true, not for a moment, that shame leads to love. Only love leads to love.”

I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow so I'll get some salsa! Can't wait to see how it tastes with celery.

“The difference between stepping stones and stumbling blocks is not in the event itself but how you think about it and what you do after it.
Every failure and setback can become part of your success or an excuse for quitting or failing.
People who develop the discipline of positivity are both happier and more successful. "
