No more junk food in the cupboards! (sorry hubby!)

NO MORE!

I AM DONE WITH THAT! Those bridges are being burnt as I type!

My Goals:
My first goal is to feel better mentally. I am being treated for depression, anxiety, and agoraphobia w/panic attacks. I was never like this until the past 2 years. I want the old me back. My second goal is to lose weight. Being depressed has caused me to really put on the weight and I need to get if off!

My Program:
I am currently just logging my food intake, drinking my 8 glasses of water daily and getting off my butt and moving for at least 10-30 minutes a day.

Personal Information:
I am married, mother to two and grandmother to two. I have tried to always enjoy life, no matter the circumstances. Within the last 4 or 5 years, something let loose in me and I hit rock bottom. I am now learning to live with depression and anxiety. I WILL beat this darkness! I have fought many battles and won; this one is just a little tougher. I am learning that being thin will not make me happy; BUT, being happy will make my thin! I am learning to love my self, right where I am at.

Other Information:
I work for a home inspection business, a real estate agent, and sell Just Jewelry. My goal is to work from home as a virtual assistant. I am trying to make the time to take care of ME. It is hard to do after years of taking care of everyone else. But I hear it can be done!!

“Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed….” 2 Corinthians 9:6-15

“Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.” 1 Corinthians 9:26-27

These two verses found in Scripture have wisdom for us as we press forward to reclaim health. I pray that this wisdom will fill you up and carry you successfully to the goal.

The Apostle, Paul, penned the following good advice that is still true today, “Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (Holy Bible, 2 Corinthians 9:6, NASB).

In anything we choose to participate, we will get no more or less from it than we are willing to put into it. That includes our weight loss or healthy living efforts, our Spark experiences, our relationships, etc. The things we value most is what we invest most in. So where is your healthy living falling on the scale of priorities? Your best gauge is found in the effort, study, ingenuity, energy, and time given to it.
