I've been struggling with consistency in weight loss for years. I've always enjoyed working out and even ran a marathon, but I was never able to keep off more than a couple pounds until Sparkpeople.

My Goals:
I had already lost 10 pounds prior to Spark after working with a nutritionist, who got me onto Sparkpeople. I want to get down to 120, a total of 43 pounds off.

My Program:
Pre-plan 90% of my meals, log everything I don't plan, even the bad stuff. I do lots of cardio, intense at the gym and moderate walks with dogs and co-workers (and occasionaly husband). Also lift weights regularly.

Personal Information:
I'm a social worker who works with elderly and disabled people, so I see the long-term effects of a lifetime of poor health choices. I

Other Information:
Love reading, exercise, spending time with family and movies (the popcorn is always a challenge). I'm also a big Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots fan.

emoticon Hey I saw you huddle on our team's wall today. Class of May 2nd - May 8th. I am so glad you decided to huddle.
Will you be visiting the March Coffee Hut too? This is where we gather to chit chat or just leave an emoticon to let the others know how we are doing . Consider joining us in the March Challenges. I am sure you got a sparkmail from me but in case you did not get a chance to check it out just let me know and I will give you the info. It can get lonely & boring when trying to loss weight on your own that why we help each other out with encouragement, challenges and motivation.
