1-1-11
A new year and now is the time for a new me. I am healed from my hip surgery and have no reason not to succeed. I want to do it right this time and make it my final time down this path from obese to better health.

3-10-10 I will be sidelined for a few months as I am haveing hip surgery 4-1-10.

10-1-09; After two months of getting out of the loop of daily exercise and tracking my food, I have gained 10 pounds. I worked to hard to get it off the first time to let myself gain it back. I am now starting over and getting back on track. I will be tracking my food again. I will be doing 30 minutes of concentrated trackable exercise each day. I need to focus on where I want to be and be more diciplined in getting there. I can do this and I am starting today.

5-28-09 Woo Hoo. Today I marked a third of my goal weight gone. Slow and steady taking each day at a time. I can do this. Love it that my clothes are baggy. I am looking forward to the next third of my goal disappearing.

4-2-09: Just a quick update. I just finished a 10 week Biggest Loser contest put on by our local paper. While losing 20 pounds, I did not win but is was a big motivator. I feel happy that I am on a slow and steady track to a better lifestyle. I am feeling energized and ready to head into spring with lots of energy.


Hi My name is Teresa. I am an Oregon farm girl and 21 yrs of shift work as a dispatcher is catching up with me. I am not as active as I need to be. I love chocolate - if it is around, I will eat it! I need to be motivated. I know I can do this and just need a push in the right direction.

Success is getting up one more time than you fall down.

My Goals:
1. Wear my watch without an extender in the band.
2. Walk without my thighs rubbing.
3. Be able to see myself in a mirror and not cringe.


My Program:
1. Get moving - 30 min of either walking or riding my recumbent bicycle 5 days a week.
2. Less carbs and more veggies.
3. Get hydrated - water, water, and water
4. Eat only when hungry



Personal Information:
I am 52 yrs old but feel 70. I am 5'8" with a BMI above 46 and have not been near my ideal weight since 8th grade. I feel like a beached whale - I would love to be a dolphin.


Other Information:
I love sewing, making quilts, and complete a least one sudoku puzzle daily. Green is my favorite color. Chocolate is my downfall. I am conservative, respect nature. and have a positive outlook.
