Seven Habits of Highly Effective People
If you have not read it, try Stephen Covey's book. The first habit is Be Proactive, and focus on your sphere of influence versus the broader sphere of concerns ( things which you spend time on, but you cannot usually control outcomes). You generally can control the amount and types of food you eat and your physical activity each day - these have direct impacts on your weight, physical condition, health, confidence, attitude, and well-being. You are in control.
