Well I have reached the goal I have set for myself!!!!
24 pounds down and feeling and looking great!!!
I am in single digit pant sizes, down from size 16, I can look at myself from the side now and like what I see, every time I go out or see someone I haven't seen in awhile, they tell me how much weight I lost and how great I look!!
I feel fantastic and I will never go back to the person I was before sparkpeople!!
I love Sparkpeople!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOALS:
To feel better,
look better naked and
to have more energy,
and of course to lose 24 pounds!!
I have accomplished all my goals and it only took 3 months to do it!! I started on Jan 1/07 and for the month of April I have been just eating like a normal person!!

Just being normal, like everyone else now!!
No weighing or measuring food anymore, I eat what I want, when I want, only now I control portion sizes and make better choices!!
I still weigh myself everyday...just to make sure I don't veer off track!!

Personal Information:
I am from Halifax, NS, Canada
I am 34 years old with a 9 year old daughter and engaged to a wonderful electrician !! :)
I am a resident manager of a 233 unit, 11 story apartment building so I get a lot of walking in every day!!
I find myself with more energy now, so it is much easier to be active!


Other Information:
I love to watch movies, all different kinds and I have learned that I now love to cook!! I just bought a new cookbook called "New Dieter's Cookbook" from Better Homes and Gardens. It has a picture of every recipe with a little box on it saying how many calories per serving. I just flip to the section I want and pick something out everyday!!

    hey..ty for replying to my post..so basically i am eating between 1200-1500 calories a day, burning 500 calories a day will result in 1-2 pound a week loss? I am trying to figure all this out so i can succeed in my weight loss. Please correct me if I am wrong. TY

    Hiya, How are you? I love your cats on the webpage. They are adorable. I am from the south shore of NS. I lived in the city for 24 years. I had to get out of the city life and live in the peaceful town-countryside of living. I did allot of travelling growing up (military brat) and you cannot beat Nova Scotians pleasant atmosphere. After mom got sick/past away, my step-father retired from the services shortly after that. As they say life is to short and we make the best of what we got.

    Hey love your page! Your clovers on the back of your page remind of something that happened to me that only a few people know about...Two years ago we rented a motel room in Pitou NS, while my gf was gone to get some beer, I stayed back and unpacked. She still wasn't back once I was finished unpacking, so I looked through the nightstand collection of reading material. I opened the bible and out fell 13 four leaf clovers! I took them all home with me in a magazine. Kind of weird huh. I would love to know who put them there and how they got them, and why did they keep 13 the most unlucky number.

    Hi fellow lover of weights lol. I didnt think i would find anyone who would put weights as their favoring. Somedays I feel like someone should tie my butt to the treadmill but I could lift everyday. I dont know why but it feels like its changing my body more than the cardio. I guess in reality it is. The cardio ... great for fat burning. The weights both. They always say do you want the persons body who is alwalys on the treadmill or the one who does weightlifting?? You know the answer lol
