I want to live healthy and be a good role model for my kids!!! I suffered from an ED (bulimia and anorexia) from my young teenage years into my mid 20's and while I would like to say that I'm 'recovered', I don't think one with such a disorder ever will... Not a full 100%! The fear & doubts are always in one's head, may they be small or big.., as is the distortion of how we see our own reflection in the mirror!.. I *want* to find my inner peace & happiness; loving the body I have (not focusing on the # on the scale and not letting the # define who I am as a person!) and be thankful for being healthy and taking care of myself every day! And just FYI, originally I wanted the username to be 'FitMommyOf2' as this is what I wish to be and have this name on quite a few other forums on the www, but the name was already taken here on SP, so I had to opt for the next possible, similar one *lol* (I felt I should mention that since I know, some might look at my pics and think that I'm not really that 'buff' per se. ;-) )

My Goals:
*Being active every day for at least 30 minutes while having FUN! *Being happy with myself/my body *Finding emotional balance and peace inside *Quit once and for all
My Program:
*Walking at least 2 miles with Leslie Sansone every day (except Sunday) *Doing either some Wii Fit excis or Wii Boxing OR Jillian Michaels DVD *Doing yoga at least 2-3x/week *Eating a good amount of healthy food i.e. 'clean' without counting calories, just portion control, and a few treats thrown in here and there. "Moderation is they key!"
Personal Information:
I'm German (i.e. passport, green card etc. *ggg*) and married to a US Navy cop. We've lived overseas together b4 coming to the US and we've arrived in Italy, Sicily, end of June 08 where we're going to live for the next 1.5 years.
Other Information:
I'm a vegetarian and feel very strongly about it due to ethical reasons. I love reading and pretty much spend all of my free time (for ex. when the kids are in bed and I've done my workouts) with my nose in a book. =) I try to stay away from processed food and opt for the healthier choices. That includes cooking from scratch and I enjoy it a lot! ;-)
