Finally, I've done it! I've lost over 50 lbs. thanks to SparkPeople! I joined SparkPeople in March of 2008 during a "Biggest Loser" contest at work. Little did I know that this small step would be the first in getting myself healthy again. My first week, I dropped 7 lbs and every week after that my weight loss was pretty small. But sticking with it is the key to reaching your goal. Never lose sight of what you know in your mind you can become. This has been the most challenging journey, aside from fatherhood. I don't care what anyone says, don't ever give up. I've been able to drop this weight thanks to the nutrition and fitness tracker. Thanks to all of my friends on the Cubs team who have helped me lose the 50 lbs. I could not have done it without them.

My Goals:
Raise my boys to be men who love God. To maintain the weight I've lost and stay connected with my friends here on SparkPeople.
My Program:
I'm counting my calories and trying to get as much exercise as possible. With 3 boys under the age of 5 at home, it's tough. I am able to get in a 5 mile bike ride every morning before work during spring and summer. During the colder months, I do a Biggest Loser workout video before work.
Personal Information:
I'm from a small town in the southeastern portion of central Illinois.
