The First Step is to have Fun

I'm retired. I have many interest: Gardening, Lighthouses, Praires and native plants, Animals. I've been following Dr. Barnards menus and have lost 33 lbs since January 2010. It really surprises me of how easy it was to lost it. I just hope I don't do something crazy and gain it all back.
2-23-11 Well I haven't done anything crazy yet - Since 1/10 lost 42 total lbs.

Hi! Thanks for your comment on my lighthouse picture. I am a WA girl living in FL. Born and raised in WA but moved to FL for the warm sun after 59 years of WA rain and beauty. Don't think I can handle WA weather any longer, but willing to go back once in a while to check the truth of that.

Thanks.

Hi Marcia! Thanks for stopping by my page. The heat wave has finally broken here. I don't remember a more horrible summer here in MN. I hope your gardens survived the drought. Best, -P

Hi! I saw your post in the Gardening team. It caught my eye because you said you had planted native flowers. I am passionate about planting natives. Today I planted a Wild Hydrangea and some Monarda. I changed one bed to native plants; dug up the Money Plant/Honesty and Grape Hyancinths and planted Blue False Indigo and Blood Root.
