Almost there...
I've started my journey on May 1st, 2007. I've decided no more diets, they don't work for me. Instead I've been learning how to eat healthy and exercise. It's about a lifestyle change for me. No more yo yo dieting..no more waiting to enjoy things until I'm skinny. I live now and live well! The pictures I have posted are from my journey so far The 1st one was taken Nov 24, 2007 on my 30th birthday. This picture made me realize how much weight I needed to loose, but ...

No more yo yo dieting..no more waiting to enjoy things until I'm skinny. I live now and live well! The pictures I have posted are from my journey so far The 1st one was taken Nov 24, 2007 on my 30th birthday. This picture made me realize how much weight I needed to loose, but instead of trying I just felt sorry for myself for a few months. The 2nd pic is mid-way through my journey when I started feeling like me again. The last picture was taken on my 31st birthday. I have 9 pounds more too lose from that picture....almost there!

Personal Information:
I am a married 30 year old with no children. I've always had a love/hate relationship with my weight. I was an average size kid but always wanted to loose 5 lbs (from 2nd grade up to graduation). I started gaining when I took an office job in my early 20's. I was at the computer all day and got little to no exercise. I was mentally burned out by the time I got home and would plop on the couch watch TV and eat junk food. My idea of socializing or entertainment was dinner and a movie...with popcorn and a pepsi ofcourse. I'd gain 10-15lbs; get scared, diet and drop the weight. Then I'd feel comfortable with my weight and gain it back. I'm tired of putting off my life until I'm skinny. I can always be caught saying "when I loose the weight I will....." I'm ready for a lifestyle change not a diet. Here's to 135 lbs for the rest of my life!! .
