It's time for a change

I have been cycling (sometimes living a healthy lifestyle and sometimes eating whatever I want) for the past three years. I can diet and workout for a few weeks but then I binge and get mad at myself and quit. I feel like I am an extremist. Two years ago I didn't want to hit 130, then last year didn't want to hit 140, and now I don't want to hit 150.. so really it's a cycle and in a few years I could be 50 more pounds. I need to set it straight and understand how to deal with being healthy in an appropriate way. I feel like I am an extremist, either I am hardcore about it or I don't do it at all. I need to find a middle ground. I have little motivation. I want to look good/okay this summer.

My Goals:
I would love to be able to run for long period of time.

I would like to be a size 6 or less.

I am not setting a weight goal until I live a healthy lifestyle for a month.

My Program:
-cardio 5 times a week
-1500 calories
-pack a lunch while working
-drinking lots of water
-little chocolate

Personal Information:
I am from Ohio but currently live in the Carolinas. I am a fan of the treadmill, and not the elliptical.

Other Information:
I like to watch Friends and the Biggest Loser. I love, love chocolate.

Hi there! I am not sure if you are still using SP but I know that I have fallen off the wagon completely and I am looking to start fresh for 2011. I saw were you posted on my page last Feb... (yes, sadly i havent been on since then.) But if you are still on I agree we do have similar goals and I am always looking for new friends to help along on their journey to a happier healthy lifestyle as well as keep me motivated in doing so! I hope you are doing well.

Congrats on the run! That's awesome. I'm glad you didn't push yourself the second time around...remember all exercise is good, it's not always about trying to beat your best's. :)
I'm doing good this week, been to the gym twice, night off tonight, although I feel guilty about not going! Back tomorrow tho! Actually really enjoying it!
