Finally getting there!
I'm a 64 year old widow who used to drive an over-the-road-semi among many other things. I helped my deceased husband remodel apartments and houses. I have 2 grand-daughters (16 and 9), 2 grand-sons (9 and 8), 2 daughters (35 and 31) and one son (37). I live in Ocala, Florida which is in the central part of the state. My oldest granddaughter wants her MeeMaw to go running with her since she is planning on trying out for track this year. Keeping up with her will be a challenge as she is ...

I have 2 grand-daughters (16 and 9), 2 grand-sons (9 and 8), 2 daughters (35 and 31) and one son (37). I live in Ocala, Florida which is in the central part of the state. My oldest granddaughter wants her MeeMaw to go running with her since she is planning on trying out for track this year. Keeping up with her will be a challenge as she is already very active and I'm desperately trying to keep up. I did participate in a 2 K run and FINISHED!!

My Goals:
I would love to be able to manage my high blood pressure as well as my high cholestrol without the aid of medication if at all possible.
I want to be able to buy a bathing suit and not be ashamed to be seen in it.
My Program:
I want to get my blood pressure down where it belongs. I need to get some of this excess weight off so my knees and back won't hurt so much.
I want to lose some more weight. I lose a few pounds & then I gain more back but I am being consistent with my exercise & hope to see a difference soon.
Personal Information:
I live in Ocala, Florida and my handle is bsywoman which is what I am most of the time. Between attending church services and spending time with my grand-daughters, I keep pretty busy. But I always seem to find time for myself at least part of the time.
Other Information:
My favorite quote comes from Matthew 7:7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."
