My name is Brooke and I am 23. I graduated college in May of 2009 and I played volleyball for the University. Now that I am no longer on the volleyball team, my fitness has gone downhill and I have put on some extra weight.

I am looking for motivation to stick to watching my calories and making sure that I get to the gym or go for a jog outside on a regular basis. I am a tax accountant and finding the time and energy to get to the gym during this busy season has been kind of a challenge for me, but I am doing better than last tax season [I felt gross about myself once it was all over].

My Goals:
My main goal is losing 50 pounds by the time summer comes around and it is swimsuit weather again. Also, I would like to look AMAZING in my wedding dress!!! I want people to notice I am making a healthy change to my life and exercising on a regular basis. I only have 7 months until my wedding day!!!!

190- February 14th- Break 190 for Valentine's day.

180- March 11th- Knowing that I haven't been in the 180's since before I met Logan, almost 5 years ago.

170- May 20th- Knowing that I could make healthy food choices and stick with my workout, even with the long hours of tax season and studying and lack of sleep.

160- July 8th- Feel comfortable in a swimming suit.

150- August 26th- Be beautiful on my wedding day!

P90X! I am wanting to get some extra cardio in there at least 2 times a week, but my busy schedule is limiting.

    I just started, so day 6 for me. My husband it doing with me. We're a little lost because we started with just borrowing the DVD's from a friend, no info. We should be getting the whole package in the mail any day. I actually thought the yoga was the hardest and the most boring. I have a lot of weight around my mid-section, so some poses were nearly impossible! I got pretty discouraged. I also got on the scale yesterday and was down 6lbs, but got on again today and it was back up (lost only 1 lb). Has this happened to you? Both times I weighed myself before dinner?!? Tomorrow is supposed to be our rest day (that's the info I got from the internet), but I feel I should do something active.
    August is the month I plan on being at goal as well. I broke it up by monthly rewards on my sp page if you want to look.

    Hey, our goals are nearly identical. I'd like to weigh around 140-145lbs as well. The smallest I remember being was 143lbs. How long have you been bringing it with p90x?

    I am in my recovery week and will be starting week 5 on Monday-BOOOO yoga! Yes, I know it's good for me... I bought Results & recovery formula last week because it's on clearance right now so I'm hoping it helps with the soreness that I'm guessing I'm going to have next week!!

    I DID get to workout with Tony Horton and it was awesome!! Totally kicked my butt-seriously, I couldn't walk right until Wednesday! We did some traditional P90X stuff and then some of the new MC2 moves-WOW!!! He was doing a book signing tour and his last stop was Santa Monica, CA so I drove up and worked out with him. It was a great way to start off a Saturday-he's really nice and funnier in person : )

    I'm just finishing up week 2 so I think I'm a week ahead of you... Let me know what you guys do for a pull up bar. I've just been doing everything with a modified band. Are you checking results weekly or monthly?
