I joined Sparkpeople just after I was married in 2010 so I have been on Sparkpeople for almost 2 years.

I joined Sparkpeople just after I was married in 2010 so I have been on Sparkpeople for almost 2 years.
In that time I was just kinda here. Logging in for a few weeks then falling off the wagon for a few more.

January 6, 2012 reality hit me...HARD. Literally knocked me on my hiney! I passed out from being sick and broke my leg in 2 places tibia and fibula. I also tore the membrane that holds them together (interosseous membrane). I soon realized fast how much I was taking for granted! Like standing...walking...and being able to workout!!!
I am slowing working my way back. I now have a plate and 8 screws in my lower leg. I couldn't put any pressure on my leg at all for 12 weeks. I cried the day I was able to stand on 2 feet again. It was the most amazing feeling.
I realized that even though working out is hard and pushing your self out of your comfort zone is even harder. You have been given the opportunity to do it. Not everyone is given this.
For the first time, I fully understand what it will take to change and I am ready to commit and give 110%
As of today 4/27/2012, I am at about 50% weight bearing. I am still doing as much as I can. Pushing myself to heal, pushing past my comfort zone every day and eating more clean and healthy.
I WILL BECOME A BETTER STRONGER and HEALTHIER ME.

My Goals:
my first goal is a big one for me and that is to get out of the 200's.

199: new out fit! 27 lbs lost will be a great reason for a fun new outfit.

188:half way!!! a new bike. i haven't had one since i was a kid

170: new work out clothes & running shoes

160: day at the spa! to give me that physical and mental de stress that will clear my mind to help me get past the last 10 lbs

150: goal!!! new tattoo! me and my husband want to get tattoos of our kids' zodiac signs. this will be an awsome goal i can't wait to reach




My Program:
1.To push myself everyday.
2.To get out of my comfort zone. Right now comfort is fat and I don't want to be fat anymore.
3. To spark everyday. There is amazing support here and I am going to take full advantage of it! :)
