My busy, sedentary life has made my weight go out-of-control. It is strange how it gets away from you so quickly without you noticing. My goal is to eventually get down to my recommended weight, but for right now - let's just work on getting out of the obese category.

Update 11/12 - After months of my eight year old bugging me and my husband dieting himself, I have recommitted to getting down to a healthier weight. My work is helping by adding an incentive if I lower my BMI. ...

Update 4/12 - Down 28lbs and one pants size! I am focusing on fitting exercise into my daily routine and enjoying it. I regularly run - using the couch to 5k program (who cares if it takes me 6 months to get through an 8 week program - at least I am trying). I have also found that I enjoy strength training at home so much better than going to a gym; it is much easier to fit into my schedule. I am considering the insanity or P90x program, but I don't think I will do well with videos. I am not 'dieting', but I am watching my portion size.

My Goals:
Get down to 130 lbs and build the habit of excersising regularly. Set a good example for my children

I believe in baby steps. Add healthy activities weekly or reduce calories weekly, but a little at a time.
