Every day I'm Bruxellin'.

Hi all! I'm Anna, a junior at the University of Vermont studying French and English. I'm currently studying abroad in Bruxelles, Belgium, which is my second time living in Belgium for a year. My goals with Sparkpeople are to lose some weight, but primarily to hold myself more accountable to a fitness schedule (I love working out, but I make a lot of excuses not to... very contradictory, I know), and to eat much better. Hi all! I'm Anna, a junior at the University of Vermont studying French and English. I'm currently studying abroad in Bruxelles, Belgium, which is my second time living in Belgium for a year. My goals with Sparkpeople are to lose some weight, but primarily to hold myself more accountable to a fitness schedule (I love working out, but I make a lot of excuses not to... very contradictory, I know), and to eat much better. I tend to snack mindlessly and to allow myself to eat whatever I want if I'm workout out pretty regularly, but I want to make a commitment to eating healthily for the benefit of my workouts instead of pigging out because I know I'll burn it later.

My exercises of choice are running, yoga (all types, although I'm a little wary to try bikram and I don't particularly like American schools of power yoga), long walks, and circuit workouts. My favorite foods are raw fruits and veggies, quinoa (SO versatile!), and Belgian Côte d'Or chocolate. I also love to read, write, ride horses, and learn languages!

Finally, my biggest goal of all is to run my first half in October 2013! I'm planning on doing a 5K or two first (which I've done), later something a little longer (but no longer than a 10K), and culminating in the half which I'm going to run with my older sister.
