Working towards Goals
Hello and thanks for taking the time to stop by my page. I hope you are enjoying your journey to better health as I am.. It is a struggle to get to your goal weight and live healthy, I know as I have struggled for several years to get to my goal weight. Hello and thanks for taking the time to stop by my page. I hope you are enjoying your journey to better health as I am.. It is a struggle to get to your goal weight and live healthy, I know as I have struggled for several years to get to my goal weight. I know I don't have a lot of weight to lose but whether it is 100 lbs or 15 it is still a struggle. So I began this journey with Sparkpeople about 5 years ago and lost 26 lbs, I put some on and lost some again. seems like it is never ending. I ended up getting Certified as a Nutritional Coach and have started my own business, Although it is hard to get up and running I plan on making this a career in the very near future. I am also getting my Personal trainer certification and look forward to working with people who truly struggle each day, I don't want to train young healthy people but want to help the people who struggle learn to live a healthy life and be able to use me as their guide to get to their goals. We need to learn to enjoy the process to reach our goals and not just look for the end result. We all have ups and downs and struggle, but if we set small goals for ourselves and enjoy the journey the end result will be that much more enjoyable !! My Goals:
Well I did reach one goal of getting my Nutritional Certification, Now My next goal is to get my Personal trainer Certificate and run a 1/2 marathon next October ! I want to continue my biking in the warm season and weight train during the cold months.
My Program:
My program will be one that will enable me to reach all of my goals listed above. I will eat clean and make sure I follow my fitness and nutrition program written out. I know there will be cheat days but I will be ready for them and no matter what life throws my way I will be strong and continue on.
Personal Information:
I am turning 54 on February 14th 2012, however still feel like I am in my 30's !! I love to be outside in the warmer weather either on my bike, boat or out running. I enjoy my 4 grandkids and I have been married 24 years !! My wife supports me in every way.
Other Information:
I love to read, depends on my mood what I read. Love to socialize, But also like ME TIME
