It's all about my "WHY"

Hello and thanks for taking the time to stop by my page.
I have been on and off again in reaching my goals, After a Rotator Cuff injury in 2013 I really just about stopped working out, except for bike rides in the Spring Through fall. I started a new job and within a year got a promotion( I wasn't even looking for one) and have dealt with the stress of learning new systems..
I'm going to be turning 57 on February 14th 2015 and I really need to focus much more on personal goals ...

I'm going to be turning 57 on February 14th 2015 and I really need to focus much more on personal goals in regards to my health, I want to retire in 5 years and now realizing that I want to enjoy a long retirement in good health and that has to start NOW! I have 4 grown children and 4 grandkids that I enjoy ! I have several hobbies, one being model railroading, cycling, reading and studying to get my Personal Trainers Certificate. I already have a Certification in nutrition.

My Goals:

My goals for 2015 are simple but like all goals I need to be consistent and stop the excuses.. Outside of losing the last 30 lbs I now want to focus on getting off my blood pressure meds and cholesterol meds. Enough is enough with the prescriptions, healthy eating, walking and biking along with a strength training program will let me reach these goals

My Program:
My program will be one that will enable me to reach all of my goals listed above.

I will eat clean and make sure I follow my fitness and nutrition program written out.

I know there will be cheat days but I will be ready for them and no matter what life throws my way I will be strong and continue on.



Personal Information:
Professional Chef, Certified Nutritional Coach, studing for my certification to be a Personal trainer,Husband, Father and grandfather. Will be turning 57 on february 14, 2015,
I love to be outside in the warmer weather either on my bike, boat or out running.

I enjoy my 4 grandkids and I have been married 27 years !! My wife supports me in every way.

Other Information:
I love to read, depends on my mood what I read.

Love to socialize, But also like ME TIME

Thank you for your comment on my blog about my meal with friends. I do like to complement the chef and kitchen staff, as well as the waiting staff if I have a good experience. I always feel that one should do that, show appreciation, because it has been deserved.
