Hello everyone,


My page is completely out of date, but I've decided that I'm tired of the cycle that comes with trying to lose weight over and over again. I had decided at the beginning of the year that I would do it, but I fell off the wagon. I've finally realized that this isnt about weight loss. This is my overall health I am fighting for. If I don't care enough about myself to treat my body well, then what do I care about? Shoveling my face with unhealthy food?

Earlier this month I went on a family vacation to Florida and on the plane I noticed that if I gain any more weight, I will need a seat belt extender. Also at Universal Studios they have a new roller coaster. I was almost unable to fit comfortably in the seat. I can't allow my weight to come between myself and doing the things I love or at least doing things that a person of a normal weight can do. THIS IS MY WAKE UP CALL

I have been a member of SparkPeople for many years, but I haven't really utilized the tools until recently. I am excited to be back on track and can't wait to see the results that come with a healthy and active lifestyle.

I've actually been counting calories for a week, making sure not to deprive myself and I'm down 7 lbs! Woot!!!!

My Goals:
My goal is to live an overall healthy lifestyle. I would like to incorporate better eating habits. I would also like to go to the gym 3 times a week and do some sort of physical activity for 10 minutes a day


My Program:
Currently I have a streak wall in my room to visually keep track of how many consecutive days I have met my goal of 10 minutes of physical activity per day.

I am a 24 year old originally from Northern Virginia, but currently residing in Richmond. I would love to have some one to keep me motivated
