-remaining consistent and persisting through the bad days.

I'm so glad you are considering running. That's a huge first step. I suggest looking at the Couch to 5K program or an interval program like the Galloway Method. Both are great plans that allow you to start running through baby steps. I never would have kept it up if I didn't start with c25k and then move on to Galloway!! Good luck! I'm here to cheer you on!
