Hey everyone! I'm 30 yrs old and planning on marrying my bestfriend pretty soon. We aren't putting the money or energy into a wedding right now but are wanting to put all of all our energy into having a baby! He wants one badly and so do I. I want to be healthy as I can be so that we can expand our family. I'm in a new city and feel so excited!! I'm ready to make the mental and physcial change thats needed to get this eating right/exercising down pact.

My Goals:
1. To become healtheir overall.
2. To have more energy.
3. To be a good rode model for my kids.
4. To log into SparkPeople everyday.

My Program:
My goal is to get in atleast 30 mins of cardio 5 times a week and weight training atleast 2 days.

My eating plan consists of not eating fast food anymore, being conscious of my food choices/portions, and eating more fruits and vegetables.

I also plan on spending more time together with my kids doing extracurricular activites.

Personal Information:
I am from Macon, GA but recently moved to the Atlanta area. I am a mother of two. I have a beautiful son and daughter who I love dearly. I want to improve myself for my kids but also for myself.

Other Information:
I enjoy reading thrillers and black romance novels. I also love movies. (Not too many I haven't seen.) I'm always looking for a good title to rent or look for as far as reading.

I'm pretty new at this myself, but wanted to let you know that it's o.k. to just jump right in and play, i.e. "click. click. click". It's how I have been learning my way around. So far I have encountered only splendid, encouraging and helpful people. I hope you try isometric exercise, it's perfect for adults with mobility issues, chronic pain, have been sedentary for a while, or who tire easily. Yet even if you're at the top of your game, isometrics can give you the added edge towards meeting your goals, even if that is finishing a triathlon! emoticon
