How many calories have you been eating per day? Are you making sure to get one rest day a week from exercise?
When I was burning 3000 calories a week I was eating at least 1400 calories and up to around 1650 calories. I was losing around a pound a week. If you don't eat enough you won't lose. Also, I was doing a free day once every other week, if not every week.
As far as fruits go - bananas and apples are standbys for me. If you buy the bananas a little green then they'll last a week, easily. Also, frozen strawberries and blueberries are great in smoothies and oatmeal.
Veggies can be tough, but I mostly eat baby carrots, lettuce or spinach, cucumber, and frozen green beans. I don't track them. I don't think limiting vegetables to fit into a calorie range is a very good idea, but that's just my personal opinion. 2727 days ago
Thanks for the comment on my blog! Great job keeping with it! It's hard sometimes when you feel like you aren't making progress. That's why I'm glad that I'm determined to be healthy, it's not just about the weight loss. I do like tracking things though because it's nice to be able to look back and see what worked for me. It makes it easier to find my balance.
I haven't lost weight faster since I hit the 6 month PP mark, but I did quit breastfeeding at that point, so my body's a little off-kilter right now. I drastically reduced my calories after I stopped breastfeeding and I'm not sure how smart that was. I guess I'll see.
Great job having the courage to stay off the scale! I think I'm just going to weigh in once a month. I need to trust myself and go based on how clothes fit and how I feel.
