Wow!!! When I look at the level of stress in my last couple of years, I really shouldn't be surprised by my weight gain. Two moves (finally settled), living with inlaws, a job change and my husband's "Ex" issues ... SIGH! I hate soap operas!!! Anyhow ... I was higher than I had ever been 186 ... now at 172.4.
I am a "reward yourself for stress" eater and need to break that. I am returning to the low carb approach because of two reasons: 1. it works quickly and keeps me motivated 2. my energy level goes throught the roof! In the past (lost 40 lbs in 2003), and am determined to see similar results this time.
New this time ... SHORT GOALS SET FOR MYSELF ... helps me to feel like I am accomplishing things along the way.
Current short term goal: By April 30 - reach 165. As of today, that's 6.5 lbs in a just over a month. I can do that!

Biggest Loser ... love the whole show!! They are each amazing!!!
Ha ... ME! I've been doing very well.

W8Watchers: "Actunity" - The opportunity for activity! Look for them! (Walk further from your car, take the steps etc.)

Long-term: to lose and keep off 40 lbs, bringing me to a healthy 140 lbs. I'm no anorexic/bolemic! I'm adding exercise to my life and want it to come to the point that it becomes 'just another day' ...
Part of my challenge is to feel I have enough energy at the end of the day to exercise. Any ideas? Besides a XXL coffee???!!!
Short-term: drink 8 glasses of water, log my food, and keep up my activity level. I look forward to being back and connecting with people again.
