I've been fighting and losing the struggle against my obesity for over 20 years. This time, I'm not fighting, I'm changing. I'm approaching my health from every aspect I can manage by eating better, excersizing and tracking both of those things here on Sparkpeople. I've learned one thing after many failed diets - I can't diet. But I can change my lifestyle. So I'm eating less and healthier, and I'm moving more. Pretty simple.

Thanks for the lean protein suggestions: Here are some of my favorites: milk, yogurt, hard boiled egg, garbanzo beans in a little jar for a snack, powdered dry skim milk added to soups, powdered non-fat peanut butter! I even starting to resort to protein powder.
