Keeping it Simple...

Here we are June of 2010 and I have been part of Spark People for almost a year, and I was doing well, until life happened. I have better control of everything now, but in that time I turned to food. I gained every pound previously lost PLUS MORE! I am starting again, weighing in at 250 pounds, a number I have never seen on myself.

I am going on a crusie in November of this year and my goal for then, is to see 199 on that scale. Weightloss is a hard journey, but I have my bags packed!

My overall goal in life is to maintain a weight of 150... but I am giving myself a year to hit that one.

Happy New Year!! I hope 2011 brings everything your heart desires. Project (call it a mini-challenge)... today, if you haven't done it yet, write down your goals for this year. We are much more likely to stick to something if we write it down! It doesn't have to only be weight or health related. One of mine should be to try to swear less... ::blush:: Though, reaching that goal "less" would mean not every 10 minutes, so... I can win that one easily (I HOPE!). Another of my goals is to lose 75 pounds in 2011. Sounds like a lot, but... it's about 6 pounds a month (with a few bonus pounds in there). I wrote a blog about mine, if you want to check it out. Hope it inspires you to make and keep goals for 2011.
I'm proud to be your Spark Sister... hope we can continue to encourage and inspire each all of 2011 (and beyond). XOXOXO

I am actually quite proud of myself, especially the time I did it in. I was thinking it would take me around 75 minutes and I knocked six minutes off that estimate!

I hope everything is going well with you. I saw your last two blog posts and that you're struggling a little. Make sure you keep eating. Small and often. What I like about eating healthy and not dieting is that you actually get to eat!
