Losing Half of Me/Gaining ALL of who I AM

Hello, my name is Alishia and I have pretty much struggled with weight since I was 12 years old. (I am now 41) I am tired of being overweight, run down and unhappy with my lifestyle and my body. I am ready to make a permanent change and STICK WITH IT for the rest of my life - which I hope will be a very long and healthy one!

Hi!
I see you are fairly new to Spark, so I just wanted to pop in and see how you are doing.
I have been with Spark for 15 months, I really enjoy the websight.
Best of luck to you on your weight loss journey.

I liked your blog. We all live in that world of denial for so many years, before we can accept the fact that we have to change our lives. It's just easier to ignore the problem and pretend our lives are okay.
Welcome to Spark....I have been coming here every day for over two years now, lost 180 lbs. in the process and have kept it off for almost a year now (4/15), so I can attest to how powerful a tool Spark can be. It helped me get my life back. Good Luck on your journey. I added you as a friend--hope that's okay!

Welcome to Living Binge Free. Thankfully for us, the cure for bingeing doesn't involve strict dieting. It doesn't work for bingers, and statistically it doesn't work for the dieters, either! Our first goal is to not binge. Along the way, we work on using our willpower to figure out smart eating guidelines that work fit in our lives with our families, friends, jobs ,and social events. Find a thread and jump in! emoticon
