Going Thin!!!

Spark is the best tool for us.. I am so thankful for this site..I have been a sparkler since March 2011 and boy has it changed my way of life. In November 2010 my husband and I brought a great little man into our lives.. 8lbs 4 oz. I was at my heaviest(274). I had a C-Section so a change had to wait a bit.. On my sons second birthday I weighed 174...100 pounds lost..Since that goal I have put a few back on 10 pounds.. :( I am troubled by this, but intend to get past this road block and move into the 160's..

My Goals:
I was 274 going into delivery of my son in Nov 2010. I was 242 in March 2011 when I started SP. And now July 2011 I am 222. Its Dec and at last weigh in I was 193lbs. I have been in the low 190's since December 11' I want to be in the 180's by March. Nov 2012 weight 174... YES!!!! Put about 10 back on, but just fueling my drive to get to the 160's..

My Program:
Aware of what I take in and what needs to go out to keep my self in goal range.

Signing up for the Tough Mudder has be the best motivation to get in shape and drop the weight slowly and steadily! I signed up with a group and raised money so my entry fee was dropped to about 100 with my discounts and signing up early. If all goes well, I think I will try a warrior dash for time sometime soon! Best of luck and way to go on your weight loss, I am right were you are, highest around 255 and now about 182. I have lost like 55 pounds just training for the TM!!! And that is with some months not eating the best, LOL!

I had a 44 day plateau between November and December which was the 'umpteenth' plateau since I started last year. However, when I go back over the numbers, I've lost 72 pounds in about a year which of course comes out to about 1.5 pounds per week average. The hard thing to wrap my head around is that I lose five or so pounds in a week and then plateau for a while. The main thing is not to quit.

The website suggests that a lot of us over-estimate calories burned and under-estimate calories eaten. Please take a look at your numbers and insure they are accurate.

It would help to turn on your tracking so we could guess a little better.

Thank You for the info..I am going to try all of this and see if I can make it work..I am going to start teaching a class at the end of this month. I will be burning alot more in the spring when I can walk..I guess this does make sense now thank you.
