To 50 and Beyond!
I am a wife and mother of two grown children. I live in Canada. I turned 50 in Jun 2012. Besides the fact that I vehemently believe that my mother lied to me about the year that I was born, I have decided to cannon ball into my next pool of years. So ... I want to figure it out. I want to figure out how to eat for me, my lifestyle, my body, my metabolism. Not a diet, I've been on enough of those in my life time. Not a picture of me in a bikini at 50 - God help us. Just me.

My Goals:
To figure it out. To lose some extra pounds - but most importantly to feel comfortable in my own skin and know what I have to do to stay that way.
My Program:
I'm logging my food intake and actually liking it. Taking the focus off of calories and putting it on to health and balance has been great for me. I'm eating like a woman instead of a big ol' lumberjack. And I'm moving my body in some way every day. It ain't fancy, but then neither am I.
Personal Information:
I'm from Vancouver, Canada - home of the Vancouver Canucks, killer whales, beautiful mountains, ocean and ... well it's just beautiful here....eh.
Other Information:
My mantra "You are never too old to become the person you've always wanted to be."
