So glad that I will be in shape now that my grandchildren are starting to arrive!
2 year anniversary and still going strong! The reason I believe I have been consistent with the lifestyle change is that I have been changing slow and steady. I am down 15 pounds and approx 4% body fat but this has been a process over 2 years!
My goal is to weigh 138 pounds by next summer. That's only 5 pounds in 8 months! That's less than one pound a month. I can do it! and to continue eating healthy and making exercise a regular part of my routine!
Goal met- Feb 1!
I have stopped adding salt to my plate. I lost 3 pounds and kept it off by doing this! I have also switched from white bread to flax bread. I am trying to do various exercises like walk, bowflex, swim, Zumba, bike and Spark people fitness videos!
My husband and I bought a boat this summer and I have been sporting a bikini all summer! We have had such a great summer so far. I've also added about 50 feet to my drive (golf) and I believe it's from working out.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. Yes, it is frustrating seeing the choices my DH makes daily, but then I think of my struggles with my eating and realize I make just as many bad choices. I just exercise more so it is not as noticeable for me.
Hey gorgeous! I know I have been missing from Spark for quite a while. I swear I am still alive and kicking and working furiously towards my goals. I don't get to get on here much but would love to reconnect with you. If you get a chance, link up with me on Facebook at facebook.com/riledupforfitness Hugs for now, REnee
Hi Brenda! Thanks for stopping by my page and for adding me as a friend. You're doing so great!!! I've been with SP since January 2009 when my weight crept back to where it was in High School. It came on so fast and all the time I was still exercising but I guess I got lazy watching my nutrition. I'm 5'5" tall, started SP at 153 lbs and lost 29 lbs. My lowest weight on SP was 124, but that only lasted about 2 minutes! I settled in at 128 lbs and maintained that for almost 2 years. Work and personal stress got the best of me and I gained about 10 lbs. Then I lost 5 lbs and now I'm stuck. I've been concentrating on strength training so the good news is that even though the scale hasn't moved I still fit into the jeans I wore when I was 124 lbs. I'm committed to losing these last 5 lbs though. It may take me a while, but I'm stubborn and I'll do it! I'm looking forward to following your journey here on SP. Feel free to ask me any questions. I'm always happy to help and/or share celebrations and frustrations! Libbie
