Yes, I spell my name with an "e" on the end. LOL Yes, my mother in law's was HUD. I don't know how many square feet they were, but they weren't bad. The second one she lived in had a little balcony where it overlooked kid's baseball fields. She liked living in the high rise. She became president of the building and when she first moved in was very involved in all their activities.
My oldest son would fit right in with the Ukrainian's. What city do you live in? We are in Pittsburgh, PA. I have two Ukrainian adopted children. My DD22 came here when she was 8 and has no recall of her native language. Her brother came at 16 and can still speak and read Ukraine and Russian.
I am so sorry about your husband. Does he live in a nursing home? My mother in law had to live in one the last few years of her life. She lived with us for a few years and then went to live in the nursing home.
Well, it's getting late and I still have to get to bed to get up for work tomorrow.

My Mother in law lived in two senior citizen high rises. I wanted my mother 82 to move into one, but she's not ready. I seriously think that I could live in one with my husband if we had to. We are relatively young, he's 66 and I'm 58. We still have 5 kids living at home. Two may be getting their own apartment. I eat lots of fruit and try to get veggies in when I can. We shop a lot at Aldi's where their produce is really inexpensive. Nice to "meet" you officially.

Brenda .I have just finished a pot of beef and vegetable soup. I also should do chicken but it is in the freezer.

Thanks for the nudge I am going to the freezer to put it in the refrigerator to thaw.

We are not getting too close to our family. We should keep out of each others way.We talk to the cell phones.

Thank you so much for your comment on my I won't give up blog. It is so nice to have people care about you.
I am really trying this time. I have a very bad feeling about this week's weigh in, but, I'm not giving up. That's it.
