Get To Goal In 2015!

Today, I read on someone's Sparkpage the following quote: "When your mind says 'give up', hope whispers 'one more try.'"

Beginning today I am starting a new adventure. I am venturing out of my comfort zone in many areas in 2015. I have changed my weight loss goals and restructured my program. So here I go! More later in the form of a blog. God Bless all who happen to read this.

Update: 9/11/14. I haven't done "well with my weight lately. My life is so wonderful right now. The only fly in the ointment is my weight and my adiction to food. That is my vice, my battle, my SIN. I know that I can do this with God's help, but I have not been obedient to His Word or His leading in this area. I have not stayed in a state of true surrender to Him and repentance. If I had, there would have been positive results. So, I have asked Him for forgiveness and have turned away from my sin toward Him. I pray for persistance in making healthy food choices and continuing to exercise. I pray for strength to do what is necessary to make God's Temple as healthy as it can be. I pray this for His glory and His alone.

*Keep a weekly food journal
*Encourage my friends weekly in their weight loss journey

My Program:
#Delete most sugar and white flour from my diet.

#Keep track of carbs.

#Focus on lower carb veggies, fruits, and lean meat, water and herbal tea.

#Limit dairy and coffee.
Purpose to eat clean.

I am originally from Concord, California. I have lived in Iowa, New Mexico and now Arkansas City, Kansas.
I am retired and loving it. I was widowed Oct. 2010. Married June 28, 2014 to Ian. I have three grown children, 2 boys and 1 girl. . I have three grandchildren, I like to study the Bible, crochet, embroider and do volunteer work.
