When I joined SparkPeople in 2007 I was at my heaviest weighing in at 188 lbs. at only 19 years old and was diagnosed with high blood pressure. I have a big list of health problems on both sides of my family so I want to be healthy and active to prevent any conditions that I can.

Since my heaviest, I have lost about 50 lbs. I am almost at my goal weight, although I will be setting a new one, I'm sure. Once I am at my goal weight I want to tone up my body and maintain it.

Its not just about the numbers on the scale for me... I've always been a "big" girl and have let it stop me from enjoying my life. Everyone says things get harder as you get older so I want to start myself on a healthy and active lifestyle path sooner rather than later. I want to be healthy, confident, active and outgoing.

My Goals:
STOP LETTING MY WEIGHT STOP ME FROM ENJOYING LIFE TO THE FULLEST!!!

Do more active and adventurous things.

Lower my high blood pressure to get off the meds and stay off.

Be fit and healthy before starting a family.




My Program:
cardio 2-4 times a week

weight train 2-4 times a week

get as much exercise and walking in addition to as many activites into my daily life as possible

watch portion sizes

drink more water

keep up with SP to stay motivated and tracking purposes

Personal Information:
My name is Breana. I am 23. I had to grown up and mature very quickly since my parents both passed away before my 18th birthday. While most people my age are just getting their act together or still living with parents and enjoying the night life I have been working full time for years and last year I bought my first home. Family and friends are very important to me. Music and dancing are amazing things and my biggest stress relievers.

Your right, start putting your plan into action! YOU CAN DO IT! The first thing to do is beleive in your self then put your plan into practice then make it a habbit! If you track your diet right, you can do it! I beleive that! So this is what we call in the Navy "PUT UP or SHUT UP"! I do not think that you want to be quiet, right? GOOD LUCK!
