Hi There!

I'm a 37 year old female who is realizing that she can no longer say that she never lost the baby weight (my son is 18).
I've been back on this site since the middle of December. For the first couple of weeks I just kind of did my own thing, tracked food, exercise, made a couple of blog entries, stuff like that. I know how much the support of the boards can help, but I also know that in the end it had to be done by me, and I wanted to have a base before I let myself get caught up in ...

I know how much the support of the boards can help, but I also know that in the end it had to be done by me, and I wanted to have a base before I let myself get caught up in the message boards.
As of the 1st of the year I started getting involved with the boards again, and so far I am greatful for the support from all of the team members. I may not respond to everything, don't think that I'm ignoring you- more than likely I just don't know what to say.
I am looking for people who live close to me to work out with, although I am doing well on my own it's more fun with some company (plus I'm really competitive). If you live in the Marquette county area please feel free to drop me a line and we will see what we can work out!

HI BRATTY:

You must be super busy these days. I just wanted to tell you that I did it! I ran/walked my 5K and it was such a great feeling to run thru that FINISH LINE. WOW. I'm still so high from it. I wish this feeling on you, because it is so wonderful when you set a goal for yourself, work at it, and then finally reach it. Bratty I really hope and route for you to complete your trainning.

Hi Bratty:

So remember when we started doing the c25k trainning. Will l my 5K is tomorrow (4/28) and I am so excited and ready. We were told to take the train because getting down town would be impossible by car. Thats a treat, I NEVER take the TRAIN. One of the women told me to get there early because the sponsors would be giving out a lot of free goodies. I don't know how I'm going to take advantage of that since I am not going to carry any thing and run (I'll be going by myself).

Tell me about you. Are you back into the swing of things now? How are you doing with your training. I can't wait to hear from you.
