Doing What's Best

I'm trying to be the healthiest I can be for this stage of my life. I'm 47 years old and my first grandchild was born in December 2011. I really want to be around to see him grow. I also want to be able to play with him without hurting or being breathless. I find it hard to get out of the floor after playing with him. I would like to get to 130 lbs by this time next year, that's 86 lbs. I'm excited about reaching that goal.

Hello! I saw your question on the team page and answered, but wanted to make sure you knew you were not alone in the lack of motivation to exercise department! I have been struggling with that since I joined. The only thing I can share is that I convince myself to walk in 10 minute increments. 10 minutes isn't too much of a commitment, and I don't even have to change clothes to walk for that long. It usually turns into a little more. If I don't feel like walking, I try Coach Nicole's short exercise videos.
