Time For a Brand New Me...

Starting Over...yet again! I fell off track and gained back all the weight I had lost. That sent me into a funk and I lost all my motivation. Now I'm back and ready to do it again - this time the right way. I've learned not to let a set back completely de-rail all my progress. I have to keep moving forward and making positive changes that will make all the difference in the long run.

Hello! I am a 34 year old carrying around some extra weight and I am looking for some support and encouragement to lose the weight and get in shape! It seems as I get older, I keep picking up a few pounds here and a few pounds there and it's time for it to stop!

I love food (I am a total carb junkie - bread and pasta are my weakness)! I am really working on portion control. I am also pretty out of shape but am slowly working on that. I have never been one to stick to exercising - I usually make it three or four days and quit. I am trying to make it more fun by doing things like Zumba and using Exerbeat on the Wii. I have started wearing a pedometer and am aiming to get at least 10,000 steps in each day. I don't succeed every day but I am getting better!

I'm looking forward to sharing this journey with you!

Hey Emily! I am BACK. I took an extra week which turned into a 2lb gain but it's all good I still am only 5lbs from pre pregnancy weight. I added a picture to photos of the baby.

Thank you for the feedback. You should definitely try again on the TDS. Wow, I was shocked but will try again. It may only be for 10 minutes but that's okay. You can do it. Start slow. Look how good you are doing in the last month! emoticon

Hey Emily! Thanks for the comments on my blog! I am overwhelmed with love for this little girl! Glad to see you made it back to SP. I will start walking again once I get Dr clearance. I have lost 18 of the twenty pounds gained during pregnancy, so hopefully I can maintain until I do start working out again. Let's make 2014 our year! emoticon
