I like to do month long trials of things and then adjust from there. I tried strict raw vegan for a month and lost those last 10 stubborn pounds. I could eat as much fruit as I wanted, never counted calories, and ate vegetables and raw nuts. I felt great mentally, because I lost weight so "easily", but I did suffer from mental fogginess and fatigue, bloating, and my gums receded (a common problem for raw vegans). I stopped because of those problems and because it was far too restrictive, after the month was done, I was so hungry and gained the weight back plus more. I am still vegan currently, and incorporate the raw lifestyle into my diet, but it wasn't a match for me. I'm eager to hear how it works out for you!!
