I have just recently turned the big 5-0 and i have decided that it's time to get rid of this weight. After all, I would like to make it to the big 6-0! I am currently at my heaviest weight , about 240, and I say "about" because I'm not really sure. I stopped weighing myself a long time ago as it was much too depressing. My goal weight is 170. That's where I was a mere eight years ago and I intend to get back to it by the end of 2012! So... here we go!
To lose 80 pounds by the end of 2012.
To be healthier and more active for my grandchildren.
To stop my symptoms of pre-diabetes.
To be a better role model for those individuals I work with as a counselor.
I will begin this process by stretching every morning, trying to complete at least 10 minutes of exercise daily, being more mindful of what I eat, and stop eating mindlessly at night (my biggest weakness).
I am a 50 year old grandmother of two perfect little boys. I am married to a wonderful man who loves me completely, no matter what. I am a licensed professional counselor currently working as a Christian counselor and I love it!
