If I know or have learned anything since I joined Sparkpeople is that I really don't know enough. I know what to eat and when to eat and that I have to exercise,and I did great , I lost over a hundred lbs. Spark people contacted me to do a before and after,but I was in the prosess of moving here to Flordia and couldn't do it . AND Then when my daily routine got rearrangeand I didn't change my habits to meet the new routine. YOU guessed it I gained back 40 lbs. So here I am again and back on track finally,WE really do need to be accountable and Sparkspeople is the best place to do this.

My Goals:
My goal is To get off of or lower the amounts of meds I take dailey and to get as healthy as i can be .


My Program:
Drink at least 10 glasses of water per day.
Eat lots of fruit and vegetables.
Stay away from salt.
eat little to no processed foods.
exercise as much as possible.



Personal Information:
I was born and raised in upstate NY. I am married and have two children and 2 grandchildren.I came to sparkpeople in november 2008 but wasn't really ready to get serious. I went and tried weight watchers but even though I walked 3 miles a day and eat exactly the points I was given I did not lose 1 lb. I got so discouraged. Then in Jan/ 2009 my cholestrol was so high the Dr put me on a high dose of medicine and told me to start a low fat diet. I have 3 siblings who died at young ages of Heart attacks and Im not ready to go. So Im serious now. I'm back and I am doing it this time.


Other Information:
I love to read.
I do projects with recycled wood.
In the cold months I crochet.
