Hi,
I am 19 years old and the youngest in my, very large, family. I'm currently taking a gap year before I go to university to study Psychology. I'm thinking about becoming a Clinical Psychologist. I'm supposed to be saving up money for uni expenditure.

In regards to my weight, I've felt fat for quite a while. I have a lot of motivations for losing weight.
* I'm engaged! I'm going to be getting married in a few years (so it's still quite a bit away) and I want to look great on the day and for my fiance - we're currently in a long distance relationship, and when he sees me, I want him to be gob-smacked - in a good way. Which is actually unlikely to happen because he has awful taste and can be a bit dense about 'girly stuff' but, hey, a girl can dream..
* I'm about to start university and I want to throw away all of my old trampy clothes, and the money I spend will be much better spent on nice clothes for me, rather than nice clothes that distract from the horrible body.
* I'm sick of people comparing me to my sisters. I'm the youngest and they often assume that I might be the oldest because I'm the largest, even though my oldest sister is 40 years old! I don't want to be looked at and thought of as "the fat one" anymore...
* I want to be healthy in the long-term. I want to live a long fulfilled, healthy life, without dealing with diabetes or a hunchback. I want to be active and not deal with ill health on a regular basis. I know it's going to be hard and a full time commitment, but that's okay.

I'm actually not planning on making any major changes for a healthy lifestyle at the moment. For now, I'm losing weight for purely aesthetic reasons, but once I am at a weight I'm happy with and can easily maintain... that's when I'm going to start working on the health aspects of my life.

Start Weight: 144 pounds. 10 and a quarter stones. Size 12 clothes. Fat, chunky, chubby, lazy and unattractive. August 1st.
Goal Weight: 112 pounds. 8 stones. Size 8 clothes. Toned, thin and limber. Summer, 2010.

Weight Loss Plan:
1200 calories a day.
Exercise in the mornings. Tone daily and walk/jog/run on good weather days.
