Reluctant Runner
After a few years of marriage, a sedentary desk job, too much fast food, and a general lack of exercise, I found myself facing a puffy stranger in the mirror. For once things clicked, and I lost almost 25 pounds. That was 2008, and since then I've gained back all but three of those pounds. Ugh. I always start out with the best of intentions, gung-ho and with my plan for success mapped out in detail. Planning is the fun part...sticking to the plan? Not so much. I'm striving ...

My Goals:
5% Challenge Goals: I will exercise for 30 minutes or more 5 days a week. I will combine running, spinning, weight training, and the dreaded Jillian Michaels. I will track my food and use the WW Points Plus system. I will log my exercise, weigh in weekly, and check in with my team regularly. 5%= 9 lbs. Total Goal= 30 lbs.
My Program:
I need to learn to consistently eat right...no more low-carb, 4-day, or whatever diet to lose the weight. This has to be sustainable. Veggies are my friends, and cheese is NOT a food group. : ) I know these things, so now to apply them...consistently.
