My Goals:
My goals are to eat more fruit and vegetables and cut out as much processed food as possible. I also want to drink more water. Hopefully this will decrease my sodium intake and increase my intake of other necessary minerals. I also want to make excercise a habit for at least five days a week. I also need to lose about 15 pounds and keep it off but I'm not focusing on that goal. I'm hoping it will happen as a result of eating heathier on the CAD program and getting more physical activity.
My Program:
I lost 30 pounds with Weight Watchers but I've gained back half of that. I've decided to return to the CAD program to cut my Carb Addiction. This is what always derails me. Within those parameters I will try to include the following: Drink 8 glasses of water a day. Weigh myself at least once a week. Make as much of my calories from fresh unprocessed ingredients as possible. Use a smaller plate to limit serving sizes. Walk at least 30 minutes five days a week. Limit sweet treats. Eat whole grains.
Personal Information:
I'm originally from Baltimore but I have lived in places as far away as the Middle East. Right now I call Pennsylvania my home.
Other Information:
I'm the mother of five children and only one is still at home. I like to read and I do a lot of genealogical research in my spare time.
