    You've got a great dream goal. I hear that stepping trail is going to be revamped. that starts in Manitou. The one I'd just like to get up some of that. As for Pike's Peak, I just like admiring it from my property out in El Paso County. Or take the train to the peak.

    Me, I'm trying to get in great enough shape just to tour the zoo. I've lived in the area since '97 and still haven't been. Hubby promised to take me this year. That is my fitness goal.

    Have a sparkling weekend. I knowl you can make healthy choices. Your little girl is so cute. You are setting worthwhile examples for her. What a great mom you are!

    Our group is scattered all over SoCo..I live south of Pueblo between there & Colo. City..one of our leaders lives on up north towards the Springs..got a scattered bunch but a great one!

    Luv reading do ya? I am working on a Nevada Barr book right now..what type of books do you like. Me ..it is easy ..I will read almost anything but like mystery/crime novels best I do believe, that & animal stories, which almost always make me cry!

    Headed for Alaska...hurrah..just keep your mind on your goal & you will get there!

    Congratulations on losing those 18 lbs!! You can definitely reach your goal if you just focus on the day you are in. Heck, in the beginning I had to take the day in two hour blocks just to get through. I would ask myself, how many more steps or movements can I make these next two hours? How much water can I drink? IF I feel hungry, can I eat JUST ENOUGH to survive me to the next two hour block. That really helped me to get through those first few months.

    First of all, you deserve a big emoticon for deciding to start your journey to a better you!

    It's a long, sometimes hard road but you are worth it. Don't forget to have fun on your adventure of newfound knowledge, power and energy. I love to take my kids on hikes through the nature trails and get them involved on my journey so that I'm also teaching them good habits as I learn them along the way.
